Materials and Equipment
List
- Wax paper (steal from your wife's kitchen drawer ... 5 layers
provides the desired diffusion)
.... or try any translucent glass or plastic you can find
around the house as I did. So far the wax paper wins.
- Fluorescent trouble light (BAYCO with Phillips 13 watt bulb,
PL-S 13w/41 ... dual bulb about 6 inches long)
..... I may try to find replacement bulb that provide
a full spectrum light.
- Your existing scanner (Epson Stylus CX3200 "All-in-one"
scanner/printer/copier)
Software used:
- Software supplied with Epson printer ... Epson Twain 5.70
- JASC Paint Shop Pro 7.0 ... I continually upgrade ...
a Minnesota firm: www.jasc.com
(Note: bought out by Corel)
- LView Pro 1.c5/32 bit ... a small trial version that is no
longer available ... use only
for final resizing ... reduces JPEG size over Paint Shop
More comprehensive trail versions
available at: www.lview.com/
Also, will the reflected light contribute toward improving the image or degrading the image? |
